I’d been wanting to photograph my daughter bathing in our kitchen sink since she was about six months old, but the hustle of the event never allowed time UNTIL- I decided while she was busy making a mess of herself to get it all set up.

Let this be a lesson that you don’t have to have the cleanest house to do a lifestyle session in it. Our kitchen is the MESSIEST space in our home. At ALL times. It took me about 5 minutes to clear off all the counters, push things that were on the floor, and do a quick wipe down on the cabinets. You wouldn’t believe the stack of dishes, toys, clothes, and food that was directly to the right of where these shots were taken.
